Chantal is the owner and creator of Startopia Entertainment. Chantal has always had a passion for performing and growing up she took acting and dance classes at Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. As her enjoyment for the arts grew, Chantal decided to continue her studies where she took a Bachelor’s degree in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Central opened her eyes to other possibilities within the field of performing, by using drama and performance as a means to teach and promote social change. Central allowed her to collaborate with communities and charities in India, as well as, touring Theatre inn Education performances for children under five around the United Kingdom. After graduating, Chantal was looking for a new experience and moved to Los Angeles for three years to study Acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. This experience gave her confidence to do the things that she always wanted to do. After graduating she went on to star in short films, plays, commercials and write her own one-person show called ‘Probably Maybe Love?’. Chantal never gave up on her dream to work with children and continued to perform bubble shows, princess parties and drama workshops in the US. After returning to the UK Chantal decided to finally do what she always wanted to do and opened up Startopia. Chantal is hoping to expand the company eventually and offer weekend theatre classes in addition to parties, school workshops, summer days and after school clubs.
